This time it's pewter (still silver in color), but it creates a deeper, more beautiful impression when personalizing it with your initials or message! Without any ado, here is the new jewelry tag!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW8phWcdz7dhZzi5DBLYxs0AwnxIWhS6bkpT3m5DntJNekvcqO-NXV0JTgOxtpLyqO3hpyf2wTze5OtTueDyfiUgbAh-tW7rOxOpJLLU3OceMJmi_VbZcofXS1u0nVSSAcJPTdBy5aGas/s1600/pewter+tags.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1362" data-original-width="1600" height="272" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgW8phWcdz7dhZzi5DBLYxs0AwnxIWhS6bkpT3m5DntJNekvcqO-NXV0JTgOxtpLyqO3hpyf2wTze5OtTueDyfiUgbAh-tW7rOxOpJLLU3OceMJmi_VbZcofXS1u0nVSSAcJPTdBy5aGas/s320/pewter+tags.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Also, I have set out to create a new jewelry line of design stamped necklaces and earrings! I presented the first pair of earrings on Instagram, and they were snatched up even before they made it to my etsy shop! So I'm hoping the next in the line of filigree-stamped jewelry will go over equally well. Here are the pics.<br />

Make your personalized gifts even better! Now you can add these designs as an accent, or even as a central theme to the wording on custom designed pendants and jewelry tags!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2tUim5Za5dhNvK6geJkEb1DUUD-9I3fU5d5XnOT6n2aVDPvRaZo941Rfe-BRu4xJyH3b7hSgkFuo96G6Byg0ZIzq8T_K1eV4FlEq9Q_mdDd0aPNHk5VPMRKRGffWTUfzqq3RVTUv_Jms/s1600/designstamps.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2tUim5Za5dhNvK6geJkEb1DUUD-9I3fU5d5XnOT6n2aVDPvRaZo941Rfe-BRu4xJyH3b7hSgkFuo96G6Byg0ZIzq8T_K1eV4FlEq9Q_mdDd0aPNHk5VPMRKRGffWTUfzqq3RVTUv_Jms/s320/designstamps.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This one has been a long time in coming! But now they are all laid out for you to see easily! You can compare their sizes in relation to one another. Also, I have numbered them for easy reference. I am working on updating most of the personalize-able items in my shop to include them so now you can have your hand-stamped, personalized jewelry include some cute designs as well. (But you can still opt for a more basic design if you'd like - your wish is my command!) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Another new option is what I like to call my Whimsical Numbers! I have them stamped on this cute little <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/191059244/personalized-metal-guitar-pick-shaped?ref=listing-shop-header-2">guitar pick pendant</a>. It's great for those who love music! And you'd like to commemorate a special date, it would make the perfect gift! I think it looks even better with the new numbers! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdv-6SmVY2CAO8mEbvHzN4Z-AuK-5m8uruHbsK-z2XsXG7zomO2loE_eVRtRt1BQVT6I2TuT3dONd_OtgDqRaBb3jVehPs6kRtjPHuJSf5wbG9O5O12l6q2A1kAJ2jXaE9fzDywosPgqk/s1600/whimsical+numbers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1570" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdv-6SmVY2CAO8mEbvHzN4Z-AuK-5m8uruHbsK-z2XsXG7zomO2loE_eVRtRt1BQVT6I2TuT3dONd_OtgDqRaBb3jVehPs6kRtjPHuJSf5wbG9O5O12l6q2A1kAJ2jXaE9fzDywosPgqk/s320/whimsical+numbers.jpg" width="314" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Also, for all you knitters out there, in addition to the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/TerahClassyCreations?ref=l2-shopheader-name&section_id=15897500">knit stitch markers</a> that I already offer in my shop, I have added another new original knitting pattern too! Introducing the new Jaden Fingerless Mitts pattern featuring Yarn Bee, Urban Chic yarn from Hobby Lobby! It's a super easy pattern that's great for a partial ball of yarn. That's actually how it got started! I had made a water bottle holder for my niece, and had yarn left over. So I made these mitts and still have some left over. I bet you could actually get a couple of pairs of mitts out of one ball of yarn! Talk about a stash buster! So here's the preview of these cute, sporty little numbers, that are great for guys or girls!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJNI_tekiRMq8tDfzkW6JYuOcjb-5_MvGZOzva_XBge9JlhU_YlY4RU41LTKOukqD9JZPgcr5LTffqEWZHgDFdUcBk-25Io80VgyKgt5dHaEqxiE-MHeq-pxt8MEyyMncPXxvhQhDJ9B0/s1600/jaden+mitts+pic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="640" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJNI_tekiRMq8tDfzkW6JYuOcjb-5_MvGZOzva_XBge9JlhU_YlY4RU41LTKOukqD9JZPgcr5LTffqEWZHgDFdUcBk-25Io80VgyKgt5dHaEqxiE-MHeq-pxt8MEyyMncPXxvhQhDJ9B0/s320/jaden+mitts+pic.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The great part about these mitts is that they are relatively quick, and the yarn makes a faux-fair-isle knitting pattern. Since it's the yarn that makes the patterning, you can expect your mitts to be a little different from one another, as you can see from the differences in the pictures. I think that makes them even more fun! But if you want them to match a little better, you can start the main hand section using the blue/green section of the ball, and wind up the patterning portions of the yarn, i.e., the orange and white/yellow and white, and reserve it for working on the cuff later, which is how this mitt is worked anyway! Easy peasy!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you would like to get this pattern right away, you can get it as an instant download <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/588487062/fingerless-mitts-knitting-pdf-pattern?ref=shop_home_active_1.">here.</a></div>

It has been an adventure! We plan to return soon, but during the limited time we are here I have restocked my shop to include all of my hand-crafted, artisan jewelry, tutorials, and hand stamped pendants and tags.<br />
<br />
But you may ask, why is this good for me? 🤔 Well, it means that I will soon be clearancing out most of my beadwoven and wirewoven jewelry. (Because its just not practical to tote all that stock around Asia with me. 🙄). That means that items like these will be going for more than 50% off! 😊<br />

In that time my husband and I have been able to experience many interesting things. But sometimes it's nice to have something familiar to do to keep me grounded-like my crafts. Recently a friend from back home in the U.S. Asked me if I could make some crocheted accessories for her. I'm definitely more used to knitting than crochet, but I jumped at the challenge. It was so much fun!<br />
<br />
I had already made some hand stamped copper buttons that said "cute as a button" on them. That's something that I could SO completely see my grandma saying, so I couldn't help myself! (Incidentally, it's also the same grandma that caught me to crochet when I was young.) So I thought hmmmm.....I wonder if that button would make a good center for a crocheted flower. Here are some of the results....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I know there are so many creative people out there who just like seeing others finished works (I know because I'm one of them). So even though these arm and leg warmers don't include my hand-stamped buttons, I thought I would show them to you too. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So if you are a creative person yourself and you'd like to find a way to add some extra flair to your projects by adding a phrase or a name to them, just think how cute a personalized button could be! (You can find a slightly larger version of this button <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/514490531/personalized-button-24-mm-rustic-solid?ref=shop_home_active_2">here</a>.) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also, if you would like me to knit or crochet something for you, you can contact me through my <a href="http://terahclassycreations.etsy.com/">shop</a>! ( I don't currently have anything knitted or crocheted in my shop, so you may be surprised that I also offer this.) I like to think of it kind of like a secret menu similar to the secret menu at In-N-Out Burger. So I hope to hear from you soon!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
P.S. I love to showcase how others have used my hand stamped buttons, jewelry tags, and pendants in their own creations. I generally share it on my<a href="http://facebook.com/TerahsClassicCreationsStudio"> facebook</a> page. So feel free to visit, like, and share!</div>

This morning I was looking through my shop and realized that some pictures REALLY needed to be re-vamped. So I had an impromptu photo-shoot!<br />
<br />
Here's some of the old pictures:<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBBOagS0dfQez-LrrS4n38JYv93E7Ff60zgy0c628KyKlQENHwjb329MH1QMhHjAFE9AzmQoAXOd4_o1NfyxuUTifaCB26eeLFPXoGwHo6C64RogKyL7XP6EiTSww-w_pyhQ2LX4RDhH4/s1600/Yellow+Lace+Scarf+%252812%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBBOagS0dfQez-LrrS4n38JYv93E7Ff60zgy0c628KyKlQENHwjb329MH1QMhHjAFE9AzmQoAXOd4_o1NfyxuUTifaCB26eeLFPXoGwHo6C64RogKyL7XP6EiTSww-w_pyhQ2LX4RDhH4/s320/Yellow+Lace+Scarf+%252812%2529.JPG" width="213" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This is one of the old ones I kind of like because you can see the patterning of the lace, and the pink adds a happy feel, but I really don't like how the background at the top left looks bluish-green.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKbfK7Z04RaZtx8Mmzha-wCFxPGZ0mlMk75YNnFSIlSXcdvJaRbkmWG0h1eB41i6VIKxYEyxp-GXWWvxHWVtDchaVQCTr5bC7khbp18qeZaqzTmHtfdSzxcKnPfn2zG85CVkwPvcaoNmw/s1600/Yellow+Lace+Scarf+%25284%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKbfK7Z04RaZtx8Mmzha-wCFxPGZ0mlMk75YNnFSIlSXcdvJaRbkmWG0h1eB41i6VIKxYEyxp-GXWWvxHWVtDchaVQCTr5bC7khbp18qeZaqzTmHtfdSzxcKnPfn2zG85CVkwPvcaoNmw/s320/Yellow+Lace+Scarf+%25284%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This one I really liked too, except for the fact that once you look really close, it just seems a little out of focus.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Here are the new ones:<br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX-JLlNd6xFjvwJO8qX_JRxejpzl78BHmXBwp_s911UaDHaDSveXaDdyvXuy5eCC1yGT8wvkoTOw0z1gPBPCsuyDaLIb4gvY_pYSyZqx5EsfdmO3i6DZsqNjg0jXhXM7fdYRA3YpI5cM4/s1600/100_4659.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX-JLlNd6xFjvwJO8qX_JRxejpzl78BHmXBwp_s911UaDHaDSveXaDdyvXuy5eCC1yGT8wvkoTOw0z1gPBPCsuyDaLIb4gvY_pYSyZqx5EsfdmO3i6DZsqNjg0jXhXM7fdYRA3YpI5cM4/s320/100_4659.JPG" width="229" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I actually love the contrast between the bright sunlight<br />and the slight fading around the edges here. It seems<br />to set a mood.<br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; text-align: right;"><tbody>

With this new batch I was having fun with the "Vignette" setting on my photo-editing software which adds a little softness around the edges. <br />

Which ones do you like best and why? I'd love to know! <br />

I found this wonderful cotton tape yarn at my local yarn store, and immediately was inspired! It has such beautiful saturated colors! <br />
<br />
The day I found it was one of our first hot days, so the cool-to-the-touch feel really drew me in. And because of the yarn's construction, it knits up into a vibrant, soft, accessory that has a beautiful drape!<br />
<br />
I made one cowl, and loved it so much that I kept it for myself. Since then I've created more for others, and even decided to create it again in another color. The first one is this chartreuse, blue and violet colorway. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh54FdbgoYfEECb6M6ky9z3QOEq_10zNNg5RC6Ygagkn4SVbhk48OPAkXs8zFJOeV1tfacjERYFUb31owIpV8ov4Q90-DveCE8m3tdPtuD5gUOn1YreKkX5_uLhm0OnJRWNpnt26bPdcMQ/s1600/green+cotton+scarf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh54FdbgoYfEECb6M6ky9z3QOEq_10zNNg5RC6Ygagkn4SVbhk48OPAkXs8zFJOeV1tfacjERYFUb31owIpV8ov4Q90-DveCE8m3tdPtuD5gUOn1YreKkX5_uLhm0OnJRWNpnt26bPdcMQ/s320/green+cotton+scarf.jpg" width="275" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
The second time I made it in blues and purples! Each of them has a different look just because of the color differences, but I love them equally! This one has more of a beach feel to it I think.<br />

I've mostly been knitting gifts, but it has led to another great development that I think knitters will love! Personalized stitch markers! There's a whole new section in my shop to showcase them. I hand-stamp them myself, so you can get them completely personalized with your own messages on them! Great for yourself or someone else!<br />
<br />
Here are some examples of how I used mine:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span id="goog_1478068709"></span><span id="goog_1478068716"></span><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQhguRtH_bnjXmuSrWiMaZHAG9t0Q_2PBPVYDkmwq1_h2PKTz3gIEMykwAQnE_Mccu0uD84Y31JADDK5Dm5AV12FtiHAecGLCn3e-LeiZ7xqSfNpdF2opOU9Q3B31m4AKx5OxQYY8viJc/s1600/100_4334.JPG" height="280" width="320" /><span id="goog_1478068718"></span><span id="goog_1478068719"></span><a href="https://draft.blogger.com/"></a><span id="goog_1478068717"></span><span id="goog_1478068710"></span><span id="goog_1478068711"></span><span id="goog_1478068712"></span><a href="https://draft.blogger.com/"></a></div>
<br />
Here I'm following a particularly tricky lace pattern (with patterning on both sides). So I decided that in addition to using a sticky note to mark my spot on the pattern, I needed to use the stitch markers to indicate which row I have completed. That way, if my sticky note blows off (which it has definitely done), I can still figure out what row of the pattern repeat I'm on. It's pretty helpful.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://img1.etsystatic.com/029/0/6285709/il_570xN.641318529_2879.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="253" src="https://img1.etsystatic.com/029/0/6285709/il_570xN.641318529_2879.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Here I'm using my solid-brass, row-counter stitch markers in multiples of five. But if you'd like other multiples, like twos, that's not a problem!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
This is the set as it looks in my shop. If you'd like your own, just click on the picture above. If you'd like something completely custom, i.e., different numbers, more stitch markers in a set, etc. Just contact me through my shop - I'm happy to talk to you!<br />
<br />
Here are some other stitch marker sets I have available too. These are great because I customize them with your wording in addition to what's shown here:<br />

A friend of mine recently asked me to make her a pair of earrings to match a dress she just bought (So I guess the inspiration did partly come from fashion). I LOVE it when friends give me a chance to make something especially for them! She allowed me creative Carte Blanche, which was amazing!<br />
<br />
Here is a swatch of the fabric patterning at the bottom of the dress:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZLEUPmclSqPqCgFZ7gP-iDJgUQovuwJnmSGwY8kgkpSmrKg-c8kgpxYViZzef6f_AwhxzSQ7rrO2W2bXREFbg0QTTFlBh_YWuPUL2VWGM_A8Ua2cWmdiFCDftvSjc-PK2naCzKvQGrcs/s1600/barbarasdressfabric.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZLEUPmclSqPqCgFZ7gP-iDJgUQovuwJnmSGwY8kgkpSmrKg-c8kgpxYViZzef6f_AwhxzSQ7rrO2W2bXREFbg0QTTFlBh_YWuPUL2VWGM_A8Ua2cWmdiFCDftvSjc-PK2naCzKvQGrcs/s1600/barbarasdressfabric.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I loved the gold embroidered curving lines with the reddish pink sunburst in the center! Very Bollywood! So I immediately thought of using a Swarovski Crystal rivoli in the center that would slightly hint at the red and blue colors. I then used brass to create the swirls to mimic the curves of the gold in the fabric.<br />
<br />
There were only two stipulations I had to follow when making earrings to match: 1. Not too fancy. 2. Not too long.<br />
<br />
After beadweaving the Swarovsky Crystal in silvery white beads (to mirror the small silvery sequins on the fabric) and hot pink hex beads (to pick up more of the main color), and many tiny wraps of brass, and a little hammering for strength and aesthetics, this is what I came up with:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqfqBWI2BDmN1DDjTvniIi_k5PlHb6YfBCtbrqNQs9br3RL0TUWpRgIZR0ILCSqRx2CZheAfRatAmtMTx7Y87B72DlzSYD7IN1ARNaGsXLPQFqt4AeYaCDoREgjY-ZAU3vffFgKvao-ek/s1600/Barbara's+Earrings+(5).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqfqBWI2BDmN1DDjTvniIi_k5PlHb6YfBCtbrqNQs9br3RL0TUWpRgIZR0ILCSqRx2CZheAfRatAmtMTx7Y87B72DlzSYD7IN1ARNaGsXLPQFqt4AeYaCDoREgjY-ZAU3vffFgKvao-ek/s1600/Barbara's+Earrings+(5).JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>

<br />
After it was all said and done, I added a little darkening to the wire wraps to enhance the details of these earrings. These earrings are a good example of what I aim to make more of in the future - pieces that incorporate bead-weaving and wire-work. They were so much fun to make - especially because I knew they'd have a good home in the end! People truly are the best inspiration! <br />
<br />
I'm thinking of making more earrings like this very soon for my shop! So if you'd like something like this for yourself, stop by <a href="http://www.terahclassycreations.etsy.com/" target="_blank">my shop</a>. If you don't already see something there you just have to have, drop me a line, and I can make a custom piece just for you!<br />
<br />
P.S. AND, you could even have a little brass tag with your initials stamped on it - for even further personalization! Wouldn't that be unique and fun!<br />
<br />
Sincerely,<br />

I've now expanded what I create, mostly because I love learning new and exciting techniques, and seeing how I can integrate them if possible to make the most fun, and unique accessories! <br />
<br />
So now it seems I have five different types of products available.<br />
<br />
1. Beadwoven items (Jewelry, purses, and home decor)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/185831718/spring-sale-beadwoven-leaf-dangle?ref=shop_home_active_8" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="291" src="https://img0.etsystatic.com/028/0/6285709/il_570xN.588058046_kr4w.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
2. Beading tutorials.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/152048915/spring-sale-pdf-pattern-loomed-beadwork?ref=shop_home_active_3" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://img1.etsystatic.com/041/0/6285709/il_570xN.591146793_k65y.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
3. Wire-wrapped Jewelry, i.e., my viking knits (so much fun)!!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/162340312/spring-sale-wirework-bracelet-rustic?ref=shop_home_active_5&ga_search_query=viking%2Bknit" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="221" src="https://img1.etsystatic.com/023/0/6285709/il_570xN.500363549_2lyn.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
4. Hand-knit accessories.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://img1.etsystatic.com/035/0/6285709/il_570xN.591147221_99s4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="286" src="https://img1.etsystatic.com/035/0/6285709/il_570xN.591147221_99s4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
and the new one. . . .(drumroll)<br />
<br />
5. Hand-stamped jewelry and charms!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/185374491/spring-sale-personalized-monogram?ref=shop_home_active_23" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="309" src="https://img0.etsystatic.com/043/0/6285709/il_570xN.591046396_hjtk.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/186587023/spring-sale-filigree-pendant-necklace-1?ref=listing-shop-header-0" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="291" src="https://img1.etsystatic.com/031/0/6285709/il_570xN.591147693_cc6t.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/186079700/spring-sale-metal-message-bracelet-hand?ref=listing-shop-header-4" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="297" src="https://img0.etsystatic.com/027/0/6285709/il_570xN.591046444_148g.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is what I'm really excited about right now. It all started when I wanted to make my own jewelry tags, and of course I didn't want to be tied down to any one style (I wanted each tag to fit the overall look of the piece I was working on). <br />
<br />
So I learned metal stamping. That is how I can offer you a wide variety of personalized tags to add to my jewelry with your own initials - or a friend's initials - if it's a gift! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/171589965/spring-sale-round-personalized-metal-tag?ref=shop_home_active_13" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="248" src="https://img1.etsystatic.com/028/1/6285709/il_570xN.591147327_a6l1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Recently I have been playing with stamping a little more, and I now am starting to offer hand-stamped jewelry itself. It can all be found here: <a href="https://draft.blogger.com/(https://www.etsy.com/shop/TerahClassyCreations?section_id=12143506&ref=shopsection_leftnav_9)">https://www.etsy.com/shop/TerahClassyCreations?section_id=12143506&ref=shopsection_leftnav_9</a><br />
<br />
So depending on how the creative bug hits me, my new items could be beadwoven, wire-wrapped, knit, hand-stamped, tutorials, or a mixture thereof! SO MUCH FUN!<br />
<br />
So if you noticed from some of my pictures, I'm also running a Spring Sale good only through May 2. EVERYTHING at <a href="http://terahclassycreations.etsy.com/">TerahClassyCreations.etsy.com</a> is 20% off!! So my fun can be your fun too!!!<br />
<br />
Enjoy!<br />

It has been a fun few weeks. So.......<br />
<br />
I want to introduce you to my new friend Jeanie. She owns The online shop <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/jeaniebeanhandknits">www.etsy.com/shop/jeaniebeanhandknits</a>. It's full of super cute hats, scarves, bags, tablet cases, etc. - all hand knit by Jeanie! Let's find out more about her!<br />
<br />
1. Besides Etsy, what do you like to do? Do you have a job you love? A subject you are studying?<br />
<br />
Jeanie: I am an early childhood special ed teacher. I am also working on an endorsement to teach ELLS. I'll be done in May after 2 years. And I knit at night and on the weekends. <br />
<br />
2. What do you like to do during your down time? <br />
<br />
<div>
Jeanie: When the weather is nice, I like gardening, love to visit Chicago for the music, street festivals, restaurants, and shopping. I love movies and "bad" TV like The Bachelor and Ghost Hunters.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
3. Do you like to travel? Where are your favorite places to visit or your dream vacation?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Jeanie: I love to travel and would love to visit Europe. I've been three different times, but would love to go back to Ireland and visit Italy as well. I also love tropical areas and would love to visit the West Indies or Thailand.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Regarding your business:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1. What inspires you to create what you do?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Jeanie: I love color and texture. I'm a bit of a yarn and button hoarder, so sometimes just putting the two together inspires me to make something. I have more ideas than I can actually sit down to create!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2. Do you have any business background?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Jeanie: The only business background I have is by association with my husband's business. I am too busy to take on another task, so he has other people handle the paperwork. So, the short answer is that I'm learning as I go. I'd like to take a business course or two over the Summer.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
3. Where do you see yourself in five years?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Jeanie: I have no idea what I'll be doing in five years. I'll probably still be teaching, but I'd love to own a brick and mortar store - a coffee shop/boutique, a place where people can hang out, read, catch up with friends, and of course, knit!!!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It was really fun to get to know her! I don't know about you, but if she ever opens up her brick and mortar store, it sounds like it would be a great place to visit! In the meantime, you can visit her online shop. Here are some of my favorite items:</div>
<div>

(<a href="http://terahsclassiccreations.blogspot.com/2014/02/minor-shop-changes-things-to-come.html">http://terahsclassiccreations.blogspot.com/2014/02/minor-shop-changes-things-to-come.html</a>) It has taken about two months from start to finish, and used much more of the premium yarn than I would have ever expected, but I really love the way it turned out! The colors really pop and accentuate the lines!<br />
<br />
Here, let me show you the finishing process it went through - BLOCKING<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj0MHmS1zkIV8f-rSnpVjP6LFg-haoWZgB7jTQ39DdLLJMJIImQlQ0prkB2_ROjTu-Izn-2ZpcI-T9zaoIOh9PtOiXOxy8iubZfCfUE5IVnPaT_YIE-s6DFWcGXgulQImk2bE-U8YAX1Y/s1600/100_3708.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj0MHmS1zkIV8f-rSnpVjP6LFg-haoWZgB7jTQ39DdLLJMJIImQlQ0prkB2_ROjTu-Izn-2ZpcI-T9zaoIOh9PtOiXOxy8iubZfCfUE5IVnPaT_YIE-s6DFWcGXgulQImk2bE-U8YAX1Y/s1600/100_3708.JPG" height="231" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
In blocking you need to first wrap the piece in a towel to get the excess water out and then lay it out on a flat surface. (In this case I used the largest beach towel I have. I apologize for the clashing of the towel colors with the shawl colors.) </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXMM42hFrSFhlIA3Bo2JjzUAU1DsTpOpTftMjjzwEVH7OpiejxSET3BiaQ8cLvne0TncwZ0x09q16RfMIM3OYLkIxH85n8DY4i-awfYzXV_SLPv1ChnZ0PRprEkkQNi4wDjwJcE8WYxuY/s1600/100_3706.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXMM42hFrSFhlIA3Bo2JjzUAU1DsTpOpTftMjjzwEVH7OpiejxSET3BiaQ8cLvne0TncwZ0x09q16RfMIM3OYLkIxH85n8DY4i-awfYzXV_SLPv1ChnZ0PRprEkkQNi4wDjwJcE8WYxuY/s1600/100_3706.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Then I used special blocking wires and rust-proof pins to open up all the delicate lacework.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2OTqJ_pKdqTmWmnGIVINSG1alQZl0VIRrfO-YYT7O8DLrBpM6k1wb1VHZDSNsoR15rv9ZtNQogljwtKDQvC6jSNiXo_-B-WEYqUkSG47tb80JtwoxOWeGAhlHdwgEeJgc4DetIry8n_M/s1600/100_3710.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2OTqJ_pKdqTmWmnGIVINSG1alQZl0VIRrfO-YYT7O8DLrBpM6k1wb1VHZDSNsoR15rv9ZtNQogljwtKDQvC6jSNiXo_-B-WEYqUkSG47tb80JtwoxOWeGAhlHdwgEeJgc4DetIry8n_M/s1600/100_3710.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I think it made all the difference - it made it truly bloom!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Here are some shots of the final results!</span></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV8j9YM_k0bpLKgvoXgdLphyphenhyphenrvTG-LjZ0osOU_uBG5RjWuPp_7RMWaRbdjyc8ynXKWTT5LPQcj-Oe-b4e85M9r0CKdF6bcCUJLg7lIRko5jbc1fTR1yz4kczviALuwq_Ws2H0SnJUILeI/s1600/100_3716.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV8j9YM_k0bpLKgvoXgdLphyphenhyphenrvTG-LjZ0osOU_uBG5RjWuPp_7RMWaRbdjyc8ynXKWTT5LPQcj-Oe-b4e85M9r0CKdF6bcCUJLg7lIRko5jbc1fTR1yz4kczviALuwq_Ws2H0SnJUILeI/s1600/100_3716.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I think it looks great draped around the neck like a voluminous scarf! Of course you can drape it over your shoulders for a more traditional look.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4NIoZxchzSPY9MZwYvxeeO6-43aduXIEOq-Y6xblqfOS0Sl4Z7Szk94BgVVbWCQJXDpkX8aqZxSGiPfsQfi7oTPik2T0VfrWdIm_dYYueqGykYcUSolnPhmoJdlt8K9TipkWlcsWrKZY/s1600/100_3724.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4NIoZxchzSPY9MZwYvxeeO6-43aduXIEOq-Y6xblqfOS0Sl4Z7Szk94BgVVbWCQJXDpkX8aqZxSGiPfsQfi7oTPik2T0VfrWdIm_dYYueqGykYcUSolnPhmoJdlt8K9TipkWlcsWrKZY/s1600/100_3724.JPG" height="320" width="275" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the leaves, and the edging!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDtRwmkAiFzkS5I8oH3yqk2EcyCREO6zdKZVclcm5iNQmajCwBEOANZJXoKk_vYjzBc3nuPbgHFbOtYJ-xV_E2-VVdhInpN1fD16LXuL14n5CFFIIKDMrdfjGJ4bDnB7kfvRPJaA7G7ew/s1600/100_3723.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDtRwmkAiFzkS5I8oH3yqk2EcyCREO6zdKZVclcm5iNQmajCwBEOANZJXoKk_vYjzBc3nuPbgHFbOtYJ-xV_E2-VVdhInpN1fD16LXuL14n5CFFIIKDMrdfjGJ4bDnB7kfvRPJaA7G7ew/s1600/100_3723.JPG" height="320" width="234" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This would look great with jeans!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCS4q-l7merOzrwYB0qOrAk3iWMZNYOFEzDqNBr5zcaTWW64nN8h6766UTPqgsQ1hGm7L28pxqrfuctzTsxp01CYCvzUGK1ktb84FUp_033Ww0gnFodaf0pXSDz_qi7so8n7yblSNHU6k/s1600/100_3715.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCS4q-l7merOzrwYB0qOrAk3iWMZNYOFEzDqNBr5zcaTWW64nN8h6766UTPqgsQ1hGm7L28pxqrfuctzTsxp01CYCvzUGK1ktb84FUp_033Ww0gnFodaf0pXSDz_qi7so8n7yblSNHU6k/s1600/100_3715.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once draped around the neck like this, it's surprisingly warm because it's 75% wool!</div>

I knitted it with machine washable wool - so you can put it on the delicate cycle in a lingerie bag, and lat flat to dry! So much easier to care for than most hand-knit shawls!</div>

(Here's the whole thing stretched out - also, this shows the "wrong" side. I think it's just an equally beautiful, alternative look to the right side - don't you?)<br />
<br />
You can get it in my shop <a href="http://terahclassycreations.etsy.com/">TerahClassyCreations.etsy.com</a>. Oh, and I have also added to my line of hand-stamped tags for personalized gifts! And for you knitters out there, I'm going to be adding some hand-stamped stitch markers that I'm pretty excited about! So stay tuned, and feel free to stop by anytime!<br />
<br />
Enjoy!!!<br />

One of them is my avatar. The avatar I used to have mirrored the style of my old shop banner. But now that the banner has changed, the avatar looked a little out of place. So I'm excited to use this avatar from now on:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz_E2l7TezLKuC0ypSg7azB3MpOGQkseBLPb7tIPHvT4ijvMuJKu-wXhzQoVXZVQ964N3HnMkVQTB64eNnAmN8dNNobAEK3S8aqwZ7mxIdUfU3YgRF6dN3jTQq4n54PGWciU0bDB602Ak/s1600/callalilyavatar.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz_E2l7TezLKuC0ypSg7azB3MpOGQkseBLPb7tIPHvT4ijvMuJKu-wXhzQoVXZVQ964N3HnMkVQTB64eNnAmN8dNNobAEK3S8aqwZ7mxIdUfU3YgRF6dN3jTQq4n54PGWciU0bDB602Ak/s1600/callalilyavatar.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I'd love to get everyone's opinion. <br />
<br />
Also, I've been working on a leafy shawl that has taken me about a month so far. It's in a vibrant aqua blue, parrot green, and tan colorway in a very nice yarn. So it I'm very excited about it! I don't have the finished product to show you yet, but here are some in-progress pictures.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVv4kH47FwnjrDg_kfwPaxvZhmnDdEGWm7WCqSqv7U_4ymDB1m2Wd2QPRVl7PeAi_1W3d8WEygxml_C-evJcp6_Fyfa4O-xlKRrgYviwZ_jjo3OiNhPPleoJz3aiQ0Lcg3BUvaq6Y0Gf0/s1600/100_3661.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVv4kH47FwnjrDg_kfwPaxvZhmnDdEGWm7WCqSqv7U_4ymDB1m2Wd2QPRVl7PeAi_1W3d8WEygxml_C-evJcp6_Fyfa4O-xlKRrgYviwZ_jjo3OiNhPPleoJz3aiQ0Lcg3BUvaq6Y0Gf0/s1600/100_3661.JPG" height="251" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
It's still on the needles here. So once it's finished you'll see how much better it looks after blocking! I think it will look spectacular worn around the neck just like a scarf, but since it has much more material, it will look even more luxuriant with the leaves peeking out from the folds! Once I have it finished, I will post pictures here as to how I envision it being worn!!!<br />
<br />
I hope to see you all very soon in my shop! <a href="http://terahclassycreations.etsy.com/">TerahClassyCreations.etsy.com</a>!<br />
<br />
Have fun!!!<br />

<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The bracelet above was inspired by the new two-hole twin beads (the ones in turquoise and gold/coppery tones). I had to see what I could do with them. So after a little playing around, this bracelet emerged! The main part is all beadwoven. The toggle was a portion of a viking knit necklace I had made, and I hammered and wire wrapped the circular part to compliment the beadwoven section of the bracelet. (I can't help but think that it looks like a fun little ferris wheel! :-D) I finished it up with my own hand-stamped tag with my logo. But if you'd like to personalize it with your own tag, you can - for yourself or as a gift! This asymmetrical, rustic, bracelet is great for every-day wear or even something a touch more fancy!<br />

<br />
These fun earrings, I like to call my Galaxy Earrings, have been entered into Etsy Beadweaver's Challenge for December. So if you'd like to look at all the entries, go to this link between December 9 - 15, 2013: <a href="http://etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">http://etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com/.</a> I'm sure you're going to see lot's of beaded beauties! These earrings feature a focal bead made of ceramic. I loved the swirling colors of the beads - and that's where the name from - it's like a swirling galaxy. I suspended them from a copper chain and and my own hand formed and hammered ear wires. The fun part was the beaded fringe that radiates from the bottom in shimmering blues! So much fun! These would be great with jeans!!!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This Celtic Princess necklace was inspired by the tiny, organic looking cube beads, and two holed lentil beads I had just gotten. Then I also saw a movie where the actress was wearing a very striking necklace that had this basic shape. So I created the viking knit cord and attached it to the beaded portion with includes a large Swarovski Crystal! The golden hued, mottled texture of the beads reminds me of a mosaic, and exudes old-world charm! This one-of-a-kind necklace can be personalized with your monogram too! Just check out the listing in my shop (link above)! And that brings me to number four.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4. The necklace just had to have earrings! So I created a similar shape with the beads, added a small crystal, and 14-karat gold-plated chain and french hooks to create these matching earrings! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I just realized I reached my first 100 sales in my little etsy shop (<a href="http://terahclassycreations.etsy.com/">TerahClassyCreations.etsy.com</a>)!!!! I'm so happy - I thought it would take longer to get here! So I'm celebrating with a sale. Enter <em>100SALES</em> at checkout for 10% off your entire purchase. That discount even counts towards already discounted items in my new SALE section. This sale is good through the end of September 2013! <br />
<br />
Ironic too, that the 100 sales also coincides with my 10 year wedding anniversary, so 10% off is an apt amount! Almost everything I make is one of a kind or limited edition. So if you see something you love, so get it before it's gone!<br />
<br />
I'd like to take a moment to give you a peek at a few of the newbies to my shop. It's an eclectic mix, but at the same time a really good representation of the variety of different types of things you can find there.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8l-5JkW0BghzMGIkfeEy31Vb4XCtof6vFW8ba7y_lIJHZFyot92XvLtUxrb0il1DN1_NgOXRrNSVtwSdk7Ir73ryP6LRQdUt626jZUGvAWLESpPcS8A56a-yjHKjSX39GGCLH3IMB44E/s1600/Peapod+Necklace+(9).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="229" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8l-5JkW0BghzMGIkfeEy31Vb4XCtof6vFW8ba7y_lIJHZFyot92XvLtUxrb0il1DN1_NgOXRrNSVtwSdk7Ir73ryP6LRQdUt626jZUGvAWLESpPcS8A56a-yjHKjSX39GGCLH3IMB44E/s320/Peapod+Necklace+(9).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This first one was a lot of fun with wire & freshwater pearls! It includes viking knit and wire weaving techniques! It's my first all wire-work necklace available for sale!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The following shows a couple of different tags now available for personalization + with even more font options to work with than before! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These are tiny, rustic looking tags that add a little vintage flair!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy0c9v_STv0T0AcLxZ_QxeB5C_CM4eGiJKnXzMzW7xEXydw6171_nRXgstPYDW1NUo0ulc1fuctW-TWrPPvbtH5rKCFi__MtMATKFnRjHg-SpPi7MGIu4cx4Kv2wxzp89BCa5NDfXuQlw/s1600/BlackRoundTagFonts.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy0c9v_STv0T0AcLxZ_QxeB5C_CM4eGiJKnXzMzW7xEXydw6171_nRXgstPYDW1NUo0ulc1fuctW-TWrPPvbtH5rKCFi__MtMATKFnRjHg-SpPi7MGIu4cx4Kv2wxzp89BCa5NDfXuQlw/s320/BlackRoundTagFonts.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
The above tags are a very light-weight metal that has a shiny black finish - I like to call them my onyx tags.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7GS94zGdpSVVmDEu5cy6hsQJl-NzB9oSaOGik8aueWKEU8w9kQO6M1HHPIqpPg6eZUBrbp4o0CjJuZg7JOpb6LKwqKaSS7z2qsEV37sVtMZTxxXTb_hLzngkfB0jgfUy0mkC-X5kNb5s/s1600/Frame+Tags+-+Copper+Rectangle+-+JBB+(6).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="253" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7GS94zGdpSVVmDEu5cy6hsQJl-NzB9oSaOGik8aueWKEU8w9kQO6M1HHPIqpPg6eZUBrbp4o0CjJuZg7JOpb6LKwqKaSS7z2qsEV37sVtMZTxxXTb_hLzngkfB0jgfUy0mkC-X5kNb5s/s320/Frame+Tags+-+Copper+Rectangle+-+JBB+(6).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The copper tag above is much larger than the others and would look great just on a plain copper chain - have it personalized with your own initials or a friend's initials for a great gift!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_I1cRf6kt4r18mZ5YXOO16YpNmiAI1Z5W_ZeuI_nbKFf1wh4w583vTs1VdPNNfCeAgK4Rr3PL25kmuA2ShKZqhcEKLfv_arpocq9TEHkaj-_f_vBx8BdtXRNiJcs3upQsNni-SzrqMlc/s1600/Square+Vintaj+Brass+(9).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_I1cRf6kt4r18mZ5YXOO16YpNmiAI1Z5W_ZeuI_nbKFf1wh4w583vTs1VdPNNfCeAgK4Rr3PL25kmuA2ShKZqhcEKLfv_arpocq9TEHkaj-_f_vBx8BdtXRNiJcs3upQsNni-SzrqMlc/s320/Square+Vintaj+Brass+(9).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
These square, brass tags have an aged look, but at the same time have been buffed to a shiny finish! Did I mention you can add any of these tags to almost any of my jewelry designs for great personalized gifts?<br />
<br />

This set was a lot of fun to make. A friend of mine presented me with a vintage piece of jewelry that was just begging for new life! So I beaded this asymmetrical leaf necklace dotted with a golden colored fresh-water pearl. The matching earrings include 14 karat gold plated chain and french hooks!</div>

This is my absolute latest item! Just in time for the weather change! I knit this by hand in a thick and thin yarn that is a billowy, super-soft cotton. So it is comfortable, but won't be too hot for pre-winter wear. It is an infinity scarf - so it is a continuous loop that you can wear long like a huge knit necklace or double it for a striking cowl. I love these colors, and just had to intertwine them in a center cable for more fun! The thick & thin yarn also adds to its character because you an see the small changes in texture.<br />

I'm super excited about the newest pattern I've created!!! It actually started as a day-trip my husband and I took a while ago. I snapped a quick picture of some especially pretty flowers and thought that somehow they would be the inspiration for something beaded. (At the time I really was thinking along the lines of jewelry - who knows, that still just might happen - I'll keep you posted!)<br />
<br />
Here is the link to my post that actually refers to that day trip: <a href="http://terahsclassiccreations.blogspot.com/2012/08/inspiration-journey.html">http://terahsclassiccreations.blogspot.com/2012/08/inspiration-journey.html</a><br />
<br />
But now I have this pattern available - the finished measurement of this picture will be approximately 7.70 inches by 9.60 inches!!!! I think it would make a great beaded tapestry or even a wall-mounted picture! <br />
<br />
Just creating this pattern has gotten my juices flowing! The pattern is so rich in color that it uses 42 different bead colors!<br />
<br />
I know some of you out there think that I'm crazy for thinking that this would be fun to do, but I just can't help myself!!! Sometimes the possible is far more interesting that what actually already exists - and the more detailed the better! So if you're with me on this, and love the process of creating art with beads, try it out!<br />
<br />
I have more patterns available in my shop too, so if you've created something from one of my patterns and would like to share a snapshot of it - I'd be glad to see it! Just post it on my fanpage: Facebook.com/TerahsClassicCreationsStudio!<br />

Some people also call it Trichonopoly. This technique is still used by modern artisans to make men's and women's adornments.<br />
<br />
A customer of mine recently requested a special piece - one in a thicker gauge - fit for a man. In stainless steel too! With a challenge like that I just couldn't resist! So I documented a little along the way. Here is my journey. . . . <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; text-align: left;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9_ilwHj5MJkiF69vvZ_uI6F_5KLKUJ40eBfga3-YsfigzVPIgRumPcrh_GBdgZVO3ZPJVEZChTRtkXwAXpiDHvYzIxd36Iu_ptefrOKyR0EIEjAE09e0M3XTX214Nk-x4aKqBQD4jghU/s1600/100_2891.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9_ilwHj5MJkiF69vvZ_uI6F_5KLKUJ40eBfga3-YsfigzVPIgRumPcrh_GBdgZVO3ZPJVEZChTRtkXwAXpiDHvYzIxd36Iu_ptefrOKyR0EIEjAE09e0M3XTX214Nk-x4aKqBQD4jghU/s320/100_2891.JPG" width="279" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I start by creating a three-loop "cast-on". Then wrapping <br />
the wire with the aid of a mandrel. In this case I like to use<br />
a 10 mm size. I also prefer a plastic mandrel - it seems to be easier to <br />
work with.<br />
<br />
<br />
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: right;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Here you can see that I'm using the double viking knit technique.<br />
I loop the wire behind the second loop above the row I am<br />
working on. </td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj55YnZUjnj13h3H42m3mi9Vg6jHEfMQioaDEYyOOuj8lmzgM5eNTsh_dxods6-36634zDQfWM7B7lWWJqbEz83sYIRa6TLmMfxFJ1M7czin4f_NW220cS-GeYlprIEzCu6Can7TQ0xIr8/s1600/100_3000.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj55YnZUjnj13h3H42m3mi9Vg6jHEfMQioaDEYyOOuj8lmzgM5eNTsh_dxods6-36634zDQfWM7B7lWWJqbEz83sYIRa6TLmMfxFJ1M7czin4f_NW220cS-GeYlprIEzCu6Can7TQ0xIr8/s320/100_3000.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This is really where the magic happens!!! These are called draw plates.<br />
They have varying sized holes through which the knitting is pulled (Of course<br />
after it has been taken off the mandrel. ;-D) This evens the stitches, elongates<br />
the woven rope and decreases the circumference. This is the step that makes<br />
it into what most of us recognize as the intriguing, beautiful, historical - Viking Knit!!!! <br />
(In the case of this necklace, because of the large gauge of the wire, I had to enlist my husband's <br />
manpower to help me draw the rope through the holes. It's kind of a fun tug-of-war!!! :-D)</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcTzIiCJ9NfhaUUa-FMczkjvteZo6vWkPvNh9VUzjjtFKVZk1cUDZRhMxAlAHFtc5Q3gSi6FnBsAsz515Gw1lGcfN_uPVoqW-Gt0_jMck1HOE416SCcn8tNOD3TiUG_a1U4LTqYXjzWl4/s1600/100_2948.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="105" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcTzIiCJ9NfhaUUa-FMczkjvteZo6vWkPvNh9VUzjjtFKVZk1cUDZRhMxAlAHFtc5Q3gSi6FnBsAsz515Gw1lGcfN_uPVoqW-Gt0_jMck1HOE416SCcn8tNOD3TiUG_a1U4LTqYXjzWl4/s400/100_2948.JPG" width="400" /></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">This is something I've started doing
for my own reference. I take notes of the starting size and materials, and the
corresponding results after using the draw plates. Why? Because each
"knitter" can come up with their own results depending on the tension
they use when pulling the wire. Also, I can duplicate my results if I desire to
make the same necklace again. Ironically, after making this note, I found I had
to decrease the size of the viking knit by pulling it through the draw plate
one more time, which changed the diameter & length - but only very
slightly. I was happy that it needed to go through one more time. I believe the
more compressed the knitted rope becomes, the more beautiful it becomes!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

I must admit I never thought of myself as much of a shopper. When I was young my Mom would take me shopping, and what I mostly remember is marathon days and tired feet at the end of it. During which time I would have to try of tons of clothes, most of which never fit right. Then, there was the peculiar smell the hangers would leave on your hands. Suffice it to say, I thought I was the odd-ball girl - the one who didn't like shopping.<br />
<br />
Then I discovered beads, books (anything I didn't have to try on), things that let me take a mental vacation, a place to go to create!!!! Okay, so I learned I liked craft shopping! That brings me to today. Now that I have an on-line shoppe (TerahClassyCreations.etsy.com), I find I spend more time on the computer than I used to. NOW I can shop without the wierd smell of hangers on my hands, without the tired feet at the end of the day. I can just browse the endless virtual aisles of EYE-CANDY everywhere!!!!! Wooohoooo!<br />
<br />
So my question is, is this a good thing or not? <br />
<br />
Pro: 1. I have bought many supplies lately that will hopefully (soon) become many beautiful creations!<br />
<br />
Con: 1. I have bought many supplies, that haven't yet become finished creations.<br />
<br />
Pro: 2. I can shop from the comfort of my home, and have direct contact with the shop owners (if I'm shopping on Etsy), without the wierd feeling you sometimes get when your in a small shop in person. You know, when you feel like you HAVE to buy something because the owner has been watching you the whole time. <br />
<br />
Con: 2. I feel so much more free to browse a LONG time! So I find MORE stuff to buy!!!<br />
<br />
Pro: 3. It's fun!<br />
<br />
Con: 3. It's fun! (Yeah, I know it's the same answer. But the con is that it can be addictive.)<br />
<br />
Pro: 4. When you run to the mailbox, it's like your about to open a gift from yourself (that you KNOW you will love)!<br />
<br />
Con: 4. I can't think of a bad side to this!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZgUDFdWiu_-MiJHqMZUREutKHBfZyRsBpzl6TdfZXanP0r3ZSh_64zqzdL0vnKLjzg6TkYDm9a1ZkjWeDY9PggWUBT2p82MG7kEwrk6m8VvGMVQmwA3WMl4tlLGEe_-4Bp6bP0NhWA3I/s1600/100_2604.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="221" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZgUDFdWiu_-MiJHqMZUREutKHBfZyRsBpzl6TdfZXanP0r3ZSh_64zqzdL0vnKLjzg6TkYDm9a1ZkjWeDY9PggWUBT2p82MG7kEwrk6m8VvGMVQmwA3WMl4tlLGEe_-4Bp6bP0NhWA3I/s320/100_2604.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I guess I'm just saying I love shopping online much more than I ever thought I would! But I guess, as with anything, balance is the key! I will be posting the things I've made from these newly bought supplies, which I hope everyone will love - I've found some really exciting things out there lately that I hope to combine in unique ways to making truly unique and stunning jewelry! Soon I'll be posting more before/afters of what I've made (like these).<br />
