More Beadwoven Goodies!

Has it been three months since I last posted?  Really?!!!!  Wow, well there's a lot to catch up on!

Here's a few of my new creations:

1.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/166865915/asymmetrical-bracelet-beaded-turquoise?

The bracelet above was inspired by the new two-hole twin beads (the ones in turquoise and gold/coppery tones).  I had to see what I could do with them.  So after a little playing around, this bracelet emerged!  The main part is all beadwoven.  The toggle was a portion of a viking knit necklace I had made, and I hammered and wire wrapped the circular part to compliment the beadwoven section of the bracelet.  (I can't help but think that it looks like a fun little ferris wheel!  :-D)  I finished it up with my own hand-stamped tag with my logo.  But if you'd like to personalize it with your own tag, you can - for yourself or as a gift!  This asymmetrical, rustic, bracelet is great for every-day wear or even something a touch more fancy!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/167943762/galaxy-earrings-beadwoven-in-blue-brown?

These fun earrings, I like to call my Galaxy Earrings, have been entered into Etsy Beadweaver's Challenge for December.  So if you'd like to look at all the entries, go to this link between December 9 - 15, 2013:  http://etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com/.  I'm sure you're going to see lot's of beaded beauties!  These earrings feature a focal bead made of ceramic.  I loved the swirling colors of the beads - and that's where the name from - it's like a swirling galaxy.  I suspended them from a copper chain and and my own hand formed and hammered ear wires.  The fun part was the beaded fringe that radiates from the bottom in shimmering blues!  So much fun!  These would be great with jeans!!!

3.

This Celtic Princess necklace was inspired by the tiny, organic looking cube beads, and two holed lentil beads I had just gotten.  Then I also saw a movie where the actress was wearing a very striking necklace that had this basic shape.  So I created the viking knit cord and attached it to the beaded portion with includes a large Swarovski Crystal!   The golden hued, mottled texture of the beads reminds me of a mosaic, and exudes old-world charm!  This one-of-a-kind necklace can be personalized with your monogram too!  Just check out the listing in my shop (link above)!     And that brings me to number four.

4.  The necklace just had to have earrings!  So I created a similar shape with the beads, added a small crystal, and 14-karat gold-plated chain and french hooks to create these matching earrings!

It's been fun creating these pieces!  I hope you find some inspiration here as well!  Also, don't forget to follow me on my facebook page (www.facebook.com/TerahsClassicCreationsStudio) to keep up with SALES and to get up-to-the-moment insider information!  Yes, there may just be a sale going right now!  :-)

Have fun!!!!

Sincerely,

Celebrate the New!

Woohoo!!!!!! I just realized I reached my first 100 sales in my little etsy shop (TerahClassyCreations.etsy.com)!!!! I'm so happy - I thought it would take longer to get here! So I'm celebrating with a sale. Enter 100SALES at checkout for 10% off your entire purchase.  That discount even counts towards already discounted items in my new SALE section. This sale is good through the end of September 2013!

Ironic too, that the 100 sales also coincides with my 10 year wedding anniversary, so 10% off is an apt amount!  Almost everything I make is one of a kind or limited edition.  So if you see something you love, so get it before it's gone!

I'd like to take a moment to give you a peek at a few of the newbies to my shop.  It's an eclectic mix, but at the same time a really good representation of the variety of different types of things you can find there.

This first one was a lot of fun with wire & freshwater pearls!  It includes viking knit and wire weaving techniques!  It's my first all wire-work necklace available for sale!

The following shows a couple of different tags now available for personalization + with even more font options to work with than before!  If you want to see all of them, visit:  https://www.etsy.com/shop/TerahClassyCreations?ref=si_shop

These are tiny, rustic looking tags that add a little vintage flair!

The above tags are a very light-weight metal that has a shiny black finish - I like to call them my onyx tags.

The copper tag above is much larger than the others and would look great just on a plain copper chain - have it personalized with your own initials or a friend's initials for a great gift!

These square, brass tags have an aged look, but at the same time have been buffed to a shiny finish!  Did I mention you can add any of these tags to almost any of my jewelry designs for great personalized gifts?

(The tags in the picture just above are genuine sterling silver - for extra special gifts.)

This set was a lot of fun to make.  A friend of mine presented me with a vintage piece of jewelry that was just begging for new life!  So I beaded this asymmetrical leaf necklace dotted with a golden colored fresh-water pearl.  The matching earrings include 14 karat gold plated chain and french hooks!

This is my absolute latest item!  Just in time for the weather change!  I  knit this by hand in a thick and thin yarn that is a billowy, super-soft cotton.  So it is comfortable, but won't be too hot for pre-winter wear.  It is an infinity scarf - so it is a continuous loop that you can wear long like a huge knit necklace or double it for a striking cowl.  I love these colors, and just had to intertwine them in  a center cable for more fun!  The thick & thin yarn also adds to its character because you an see the small changes in texture.

Don't forget, enter the code 100SALES at checkout to receive 10% off your entire purchase!  (Only good through September 30, 2013)

Have fun!

Sincerely,

Terah

Metal Mania

I have been off on a metal adventure!  This was actually accentuated by my sister's wedding.  She surprised me by asking me if I'd be willing to make the bridesmaid's bracelets.  I was really happy she asked me to make them!!  She had a pretty specific design in mind that involved just beads and metal.  So of course, that set me off in that direction.  I had fun making them!  It pushed me to do something "out-of-the-box" so to speak.  At least out of my box - which is always good.  My sister loves green and fall tones, so I ended up making these bracelets:

I love the open, free-flowing designs of these bracelets - there's not a two that are exactly alike.  That's the beauty of it!  Each one is unique!

On top of all that I've been learning more wire-wrapping techniques.  So here's a sampling of what you will probably see more of in my shop in the future:

As always, I'm continually adding new designs & techniques!  I've also recently bought a bunch of new beautiful supplies that are just waiting to become jewelry!  So, to keep up on the latest additions to my shop, feel free to add my shop to your favorites!!

Until next time . . . .

Have fun!

Sincerely,

Terah :-)
