Celebrate the New!

Woohoo!!!!!! I just realized I reached my first 100 sales in my little etsy shop (TerahClassyCreations.etsy.com)!!!! I'm so happy - I thought it would take longer to get here! I'd like to take a moment to give you a peek at a few of the newbies to my shop.  It's an eclectic mix, but at the same time a really good representation of the variety of different types of things you can find there.

 

This first one was a lot of fun with wire & freshwater pearls!  It includes viking knit and wire weaving techniques!  It's my first all wire-work necklace available for sale!

These are tiny, rustic looking tags that add a little vintage flair!

 

 

The above tags are a very light-weight metal that has a shiny black finish - I like to call them my onyx tags.

The copper tag above is much larger than the others and would look great just on a plain copper chain - have it personalized with your own initials or a friend's initials for a great gift!

These square, brass tags have an aged look, but at the same time have been buffed to a shiny finish!  Did I mention you can add any of these tags to almost any of my jewelry designs for great personalized gifts?

This set was a lot of fun to make.  A friend of mine presented me with a vintage piece of jewelry that was just begging for new life!  So I beaded this asymmetrical leaf necklace dotted with a golden colored fresh-water pearl.  The matching earrings include 14 karat gold plated chain and french hooks!

 

This is my absolute latest item!  Just in time for the weather change!  I  knit this by hand in a thick and thin yarn that is a billowy, super-soft cotton.  So it is comfortable, but won't be too hot for pre-winter wear.  It is an infinity scarf - so it is a continuous loop that you can wear long like a huge knit necklace or double it for a striking cowl.  I love these colors, and just had to intertwine them in  a center cable for more fun!  The thick & thin yarn also adds to its character because you an see the small changes in texture.

Classic Teardrop Earrings

I call these my Classic Teardrop Earrings because this is an earring design that I just keep coming back to.  I also used it in the earrings that go with the Hanging Garden Necklace (click on link to see older blog post).  There's something enduring in this design - you can wear it to the office AND out for a special evening!  This time it has a more bold yet classy feel with the red, silver, and white.  (I seem to be drawn to that color-scheme lately.  I'm working on a few other projects that also have the same color scheme.  I will be posting them soon, so stay tuned!)  

The earring wires are sterling plated, and the body of the earring contains Delicas, and crystal rondelles.  I will be adding these to my new Etsy shop very soon!!!  Take a look!  The address is: terahclassycreations.etsy.com.  (At the time of this posting I don't have anything in my shop yet, but I would love some feed-back about it!)  **SOLD**

Trillium Trio

I hope you enjoy this necklace - yet another adventure in asymmetrical design! It was inspired by the Labradorite rondelles I found at my local Gem Faire. Once I got them home, I rummaged through some books to start up the idea process, and again the book Shaped Beadwork by Diane Fitzgerald did it for me. The project for Trilliums (the little flower in the necklace) really inspired me. It's very fun and fast to create. (Relatively - as fast as seed-beading can get!) I added the Russian Leaf off the side to offset the three Trilliums, and the pendant was off a necklace that I've loved for years! The metal components are sterling silver plated. Of special note is the clasp which is the vintage-style design (which works like a box clasp, but in an orb shape). This would be the perfect something old (recycled pendant), something new, something borrowed (maybe not), something blue (definitely!) for that special wedding!
